Let’s check out, which one is the best city beach in the world?
10. Jumeirah Beach, Dubai
This is in fact, one of the most popular beaches in the world, especially for Arab countries. The Jumeirah Beach, Dubai is probably best known for the Burj Al Arab, which is an unbelievable 7 Star Hotel that rises high above the hot sand. There is another famous hotel here. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel along with the warm turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf attracts so many people each year, not only local citizens but also a lot from the outside world.
As a result of rapid expansion and poor planning, there has been a claim of Dubai’s beaches contaminated with raw sewage in recent time. Some doctors were also found to even warn for health risk. But positively this will prompt Dubai to use the international ‘blue flag’ system and signify to bathers that their swimming spot is eco-friendly.

09. Barceloneta, Barcelona
I think the name clear’s out the destination in this case. Because of so many issues related to the city, Barcelona is a very famous city in Europe. And Barceloneta is the main city Beach in Barcelona. As it is close to the center, people can easily access the wonderful beach.
The 1,100-meter sandy beach runs a walkway. Mostly joggers and cyclist consider the place most popular. Of course, this place can get crowded during the summer months. There is a famous beach bar named Chiringuitos in the beach, which is opened up at summers, that defines the crowd this time. Don’t forget to note, Barceloneta beach has the best fish restaurants in town.

08. Clifton Beach, Cape Town
There are a number of beaches in Cape Town. Clifton Beach is definitely the trendiest of them all. It is situated on the West Atlantic side and only ten minutes from the main city. Moreover, the beach is actually a series of four beaches, which is separated by a stretch of granite boulders.
Like all other beautiful beaches in the world, this also comprises pure white sand, offering beautiful views of sunsets. One interesting phenomenon here, the water is always very chilly averaging around 12 to 16c. So you can only feel it bearable on a hot summer day.

07. Bondi Beach, Sydney
This is one of my favorite in the list. The closest ocean beach to the center of Sydney, Bondi Beach has become synonymous with Sydney’s beach lifestyle and is very popular with Australians as well as international tourists. The beach is nearly a kilometer long and features many surf shops, cafés, and restaurants along its promenade.
You can also find underwater shark net for safety reasons. Although, there has been a news about shark attack at Bondi Beach recent year. But to be noted, that this was the first occurrence in 80 years history of Bondi beach.

Here, the beautiful bay offers a long and broad sandy beach with a calm tide and almost gentle wave. This can give a sharp contrast with the frantic intensity of the city’s downtown business places.
Traditional Chinese Style Park can be found near the beach that includes huge statues of the Kwun Yum and Tin Hau goddesses. These are more than ten meters high in size. Repulse Bay is one of the most expensive residential areas in Hong Kong.

05. Venice Beach, Los Angeles
What do you think? This name was must to come in line for the amazing city beaches list. Venice Beach is just one of those places you must visit at least once in your lifetime, especially when you come to Los Angeles. Most definitely this three-mile sandy beach is one of the most visited tourist attractions here.
During the summer season and on weekends, the Ocean Front Walk fills up with street performers. Travelers are found doing their thing like biking, swimming, roller-skating and sunbathing. Muscle Beach is a special area where fanatic bodybuilders pump iron. California’s governor, our all favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger used to be one of the regulars here during the 70s.

Ipanema is a beautiful city beach in Rio de Janeiro with miles and miles of pure white sand. There are two spectacular mountains called the Dois Irmãos to the west side. In the local language, it means actually two brothers.
The place can become crowded especially on the weekends and of course during the holidays. Many locals flock to Ipanema Beach from the suburb of Ipanema.

If you are trying to think about something in Hawaii, then it must be Honolulu’s Waikiki Beach that comes at first sight. The magnificent views of the volcano Diamond Head and cloud-free climate, the beach is one of the most popular vacation destinations for almost all the world.
Also to be noted, it is also by far the most crowded with high-rise resort hotels all along the beachside. Waikiki is a good place for learning how to surf as the waves are quite gentle here.

01. Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro
Located right in the center of Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana is probably the most famous and best city beach in the world. You can count it as the best tourist destination in Brazil. This particular beach area is surrounded with the wonderfully rich setting of monolith mountains and sea. The spectacular Sugarloaf Mountain are seen cascading right down into the Atlantic Ocean.
Copacabana beach is about 4 kilometers long with plenty of hotels, shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs along its sidewalk. You can definitely find something always going on during the day and night. Probably the beach offers the best of the non-stop party atmosphere.
